Freddie Gibbs kept it honest on Instagram with his thoughts on Jim Jones and gang affiliations in hip-hop.

In the past, Gibbs has spoken out about rappers claiming gangs for the sake of attention and album sales. Gibbs reiterated his statements when it comes to Jim Jones and his connection to the Bloods gang.

"Hell na na he a wanna be blood," Gibbs said to a fan who asked if the New York rapper was a Vice Lord. Gibbs also reposted a photo of Jones jokingly wearing a waist trainer.

"Damn so yall n**** tryin to have tiny waist and fat a**** now too? SMFH Good morning muthaf*****." he said.

Should be another great season. I fully expect my pro team to be back in the lotto so I will be keeping my eye on some of the top prospects throughout the year. Shame Mudiya won't be playing college ball. I'm a fan and I was looking forward to seeing him and Larry Brown put in work. Here's my mini power ranking.

USA Network has given a two-season renewal to long-running medical drama Royal Pains, bringing the series to an eighth-season and the 100th-episode milestone, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Seasons seven and eight will be shortened, consisting of eight episodes each.

Royal Pains wrapped its sixth season on Sept. 2, averaging 3.36 million viewers. It was a top 10 series on Tuesdays evenings.

The news comes on the heels of USA renewals for Suits, a top five cable series in all key demos, and Satisfaction, which ranks among the top new original scripted series in 18-to-49.

Royal Pains remains a key player in USA's scripted stable, joining Suits, Satisfaction, Sirens, Benched, Covert Affairs, the final run of White Collar and the forthcoming Dig. Graceland and Playing House remain on the bubble, though it is likely the former will return. The network is prepping four drama pilots as it aims to add to its portfolio: Carlton Cuse's Colony, starring Josh Holloway; Jennifer Carpenter's Stanistan; hacker drama Mr. Robot with Christian Slater and Queen of the South, starring Alice Braga.

Royal Pains centers on HankMed, a concierge practice serving the wealthy and well-connected in the Hamptons. Mark Feuerstein, Paulo Costanzo, Reshma Shetty, Brooke D'Orsay and Ben Shenkman star in the Universal Cable Productions series. Andrew Lenchewski and Michael Rauch write and executive produce, along with Rich Frank, Jeff Kwatinetz and Paul Frank.

“Royal Pains remains a staple for fun summer TV viewing, and we are pleased to bring back the series for two additional seasons,” said Chris McCumber, president of USA Network. “We’re extremely proud of both the talent and creative team, who, season after season, have brought to life to these relatable and multifaceted stories, which continue to attract a loyal fan base.”

“Royal Pains was a breakout hit from its first episode and continues to deliver for USA and our studio,” said Jeff Wachtel, president and chief content officer of NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment. “It’s no easy feat to maintain a real connection with your audience season after season, but Andrew, Michael, Mark, Paulo, Reshma and the rest of team have done that and more.”

The Other Guys stars Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are to topline Daddy's Home for Paramount Pictures and Red Granite Pictures.

Ferrell will play a mild-mannered radio executive looking to become the best stepdad to his wife’s two children just as their freewheeling and freeloading real father (Wahlberg) arrives on the scene. Red Granite Pictures will co-produce and co-finance the film, to be directed by Sean Anders.

Paramount Pictures will distribute worldwide after production on Daddy's Home gets underway later this year. Brian Burns wrote the film's screenplay, with revisions by Anders, John Morris, Chris Henchy, Adam McKay and Etan Cohen.

Morris will produce with Ferrell, Henchy and McKay through their Gary Sanchez Productions banner. The executive producers are Riza Aziz, Joey McFarland and David Koplan from Red Granite Pictures, along with Kevin Messick and Jessica Elbaum of Gary Sanchez, Anders and Diana Pokorny.

Red Granite also backed Horns, the Daniel Radcliffe-starring supernatural thriller released last weekend by Dimension-RADiUS, and also produced Dumb and Dumber To, the buddy comedy film sequel by Bobby Farrelly and Peter Farrelly to be released on Nov. 14 by Universal Pictures.

The cast of Fox’s Utopia is going to have to return to the real world ahead of schedule. The network has decided to cancel the freshman series, originally announced as a reality experiment that would last a whole year. Instead it survived less than two months, having severely underperformed in the ratings.

Fox will pull the Friday night series from its schedule starting this week. It will be replaced by encore episodes of Masterchef Junior. The show’s online live feeds will also shut down later today, though it’s highly unlikely they will show the cast being informed of the show’s cancellation. The cast is expected to receive post-production counseling before being returned to their regular lives.

Previously Fox had moved the series from its Tuesday night slot to Friday, a night when a lower rating is more survivable. But last Friday’s episode dropped to only 1.6 million viewers and a 0.7 rating among adults 18 to 49.

Utopia stranded a group of strangers in a remote California location to build a more perfect society. It was considered a big gamble for Fox–a pricy stab at a reality concept that largely eschewed the competition elements central to most broadcast network reality hits.

Marvel Phase 2 kicks off at the end of this month with Iron Man 3 and will eventually get to a sequel to Captain America: The First Avenger and the start of a new franchise, Guardians of the Galaxy. Casting is underway for the two films,but other than that the details on these films are almost non-existent, until today. Geek Zenith has uncovered four pieces of concept art which show off the Star Wars influence for "Guardians" and Captain America taking on the namesake for his movie, The Winter Soldier. Check them out below.

The only cast member officially announced for Guardians of the Galaxy are "Parks and Recreation" actor Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, and Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer. Guardians of the Galaxy's roster is also said to include Groot, Rocket Racoon and Gamora. It's currently in pre-production in the UK, with director James Gunn at the helm, and is targeting an August 1, 2014 release.

Captain America: The Winder Soldier is set to star Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Frank Grillo, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Scarlett Johansson, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp, Hayley Atwell, Maximiliano Hernández, Robert Redford and Georges St-Pierre. The story picks up where Marvel's The Avengers left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits theaters April 4, 2014.

Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood star Yung Berg a.k.a. Hitmaka was arrested in New York City on Wednesday, November 5, for allegedly attacking his girlfriend.

According to TMZ, Berg, real name Christian Ward, went berserk at the Gershwin Hotel following an argument. He reportedly dragged his woman across the floor by her hair, punching her in the face, grabbed her by the neck and threw her to floor.

When cops arrived Berg's girlfriend was bruised and complained of she was hurting. Berg was hauled off to jail, where he is still in custody.
