I wont front, Im 37, and alot of hip hop I used to swear by I cannot listen to anymore. Some of that shit just isnt aging well, and as I grow older it sounds fucking ridiculous, talking about guns and block life and certain bum shit that my 'glourious 90s era' glamorized and directly led to some of the super lame shit old fogies like myself complain about in hip hop now. I still dig Cam because of his word play and humor. I love Raekwon, but sometimes now I listen to him and be like, shut the fuck up Rae. Ghostface is just unparallelled in his awesomeness, and it will always be that way..but enough about me, what are some artist u guys used to dig that u just dont hold dear any more?
