Science replacing God, is it inevitable?

maybe not in our lifetime but at some point everything will have proof and/ or be created within the realm of our understanding and limitations.

Growing up i was often told that we are like an ant in a sand box. we are limited to understanding the sandbox and God's knowledge is everything outside the sandbox which is much greater than our comprehension.

but with the gaining and understand and lifetime research that is passed onto much younger scientist to either be added to or disproved which then adds another line of research....will we eventually break the walls of the sandbox and begin to understand the inner workings of the universe.

Given such power would then allow us to create or replicate the universe we at one point didnt understand and passed off as heaven. or understand that we are replications of beings that was more advanced than us , giving us the understanding that "we" were the experiment but now gaining the knowledge of our creators.

During this time period, technology is moving so fast that people are now losing faith and trusting in google. the faith in the unknown is now becoming the "known" or the "as we know it for now".

with all the sites and searches you can find now that challenges everything once taught in religion, more people are questioning a higher "untouchable" being. we are already turning to the findings of science slowly but surely whether its right or wrong or unstable.

now before we brush this off as "well science is another religion and God is the top scientist" or " but the book is HIS word"

lets try to have a healthy debate for once.
