Couple arrested on Jacksonville Beach having sex

Police investigating a vehicle fire in the 500 block of North First Street in Jacksonville Beach got more than they bargained for late Monday when they found a 29-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman having sex on the beach, according to the Jacksonville Beach Police Department.
Kathy Lynn Granone was arrested on charges of exposure of sexual organs and resisting an officer without violence, and David Charles Aiuppy was charged with arson to a vehicle as well as exposure, police said.
Officers were sent to the Jacksonville Beach Pier parking lot at 5:40 p.m. after a report of a vehicle on fire, according to police. Witnesses said a couple had been arguing and throwing things from the vehicle when the woman walked away. That’s when the man started to light the vehicle on fire, then left it as he went up the beach to meet the woman.
Officers found the couple engaged in sex on the sand in full view of other people and arrested them, police said.
