Last summer, (when I was at my old school,) I went to run an errand and when I got of the library, I realized (to my absolute horror,) that I didn't have my Bose earbuds on me. A nigga straight fuckin' panicked. Since I went to school with a bunch of thieving ass muthafuckas, I knew my earbuds went to the game. So since last summer, I had to deal with the indignity of wackass audio via cheap ass earbuds. Though I must admit that the JVC earbuds for $8 were cool and were durable, but a nigga fucked around and lost those.
As of last week Rex is again able to enjoy his audio, (especially his music,) the way the artist intended. Instead of buying another pair of Bose, or Beats, (to which I've never heard anything positive about.) I invested in some Sennheiser IE 60 earbuds. Nigga, fuck Bose, (and even though I've have personal experience with them,) fuck Beats. Sennheiser is a better overall product and is shitting on both brands.
First of all, the Sennheisers are noise cancelling. With the Bose, I was hearing minimal background noise, not a lot to fuck up the music listing experience, but you would still hear traffic, and the annoying candy and Harlem Shake niggas, along with the fiends that bum for change while on the train With the Seinnheisers you ain't hearing shit other than the music.
The music is so clear and equalized just right. Yesterday, I was listening to "Eazy-er Said Than Dunn[ and Ren's ad libs were coming through clear as fuck. When I tuned in to my "Frank Sinatra Station," on Pandora, it was like a nigga was at in some fly as lounge listening to Nat King Cole in person. You were able to hear every fucking instrument. The horns, the bass, the drums, shit was ridiculous.
With the Bose, when I lsitened to hip hop songs there was a little distortion on the bass. I chalked it up to technology not having to caught up to being able to make subwoofers that small; however, the bass on these muthafuckas, the Seinnheisers (and I bullshit you not,) hits like some high quality 12's and I can argue maybe some 15's, WITH NO BASS DISTORTION! Those German muthafuckas on are the other level as far as putting superior audio in such a small space. The shit sounds like my old Altec Lansing five piece speaker set for my Dell with the Sound Blaster card that cost like $300 at the time.
Now for the bad, the Sennheiser ear buds are a buck fifty more than the Bose and the Beats and if you're like ole Rex and you purchase the service contract, you're looking at about three bills, but if you're an audiophile with an appreciation for superior sound quality, then fuck with Seinnheiser. Oh, I need to mention, the ones I bought were the midrange ones, the top of the line pair of ear buds were like $440 and I'm wondering how those shits sound.
