A college student in Georgia was randomly attacked Wednesday by a 37-year-old African-American woman dressed as a mime, according to a police report provided to Raw Story and first spotted by The Athens Banner-Herald.
The assault was stopped by a passer-by who chased the assailant down, the police report explains. It’s not clear why the assailant, Stephanie C. Walker (pictured below), was wearing all black clothing and white face paint.

When police arrived on the scene they saw a pickup truck idling empty in the middle of a road as an older white male chased an African-American woman away. They later learned that older male was 39-year-old Dwight Eberhart, who witnessed the assault and tried to intervene.
Once in custody, police claim that Walker was “speaking about several different topics going from one subject to the next not making any sense as to what she was speaking.” She allegedly continued her confused “ranting” until arriving at the jail, where a razor was discovered in her purse.
Walker was charged with battery and remained in jail as of Thursday afternoon. She’s expected to undergo a mental health evaluation.
