You ever witnessed an ether so strong that you felt a little burnt your damn self?
Alright, so I had a performance evaluation this AM for my Advanced Health Assessment class. What happens is that myself and my lab partner do health assessments from memory on one another in front of our professor for a satisfactory/unsatisfactory grade. Either you get it right or you don't. If you don't you have 1 opportunity to make an appointment with your professor to repeat it.
So while we were waiting out in the hallway, my lab partner said "yeah this is my first time looking at this since we did it in class (2 weeks ago)." I'm thinking to myself "bitch you gone fail" but I help her anyway, point out the pages in the book she needs to look over, kinda walking her through the procedure, etc.
When our turn comes up, I elected to go first since I knew what I was doing, hoping that maybe she'd see me do it & pass. I did the assessment and passed. When it was her turn, she got through the first two steps and started making shit up, LOL. Just randomly poking and prodding, embarrassing the fuck out of herself for about 10 mins straight.

So finally professor got tired of her shenanigans, slammed her hands on her desk hard as hell and said "STOP."
She looked at her and said "Do you have any idea what you're doing? You know what, don't answer that, because I know you don't. Why did you even bother to come this morning if you knew you weren't prepared, _______? Are you trying to waste my time? Because if so, you succeeded. You're wasting my time, your time, your partner's time, and the people who wanted to get in this program and didn't. This is an extremely competitive advanced nursing program, and it is a disgrace that you treat my class with such levity that you'd come in here unprepared and flub my exam like I don't know you didn't study. I hate nurses like you. You wanna know why? Because if you are this incompetent in CLASS, I can only imagine how much of a jackass you are with your patients. When nurses like you slip through the cracks, it makes my sphincter clench to think about the competent nurses who would have appreciated this opportunity far more than you. Think about that while you make an appointment to repeat your exam. We're done here."
I don't think I have eyebrows, because that secondhand ether definitely burned them the fuck off.
