French Montana Debuts At #6 With Excuse My French Album Sales
French Montana celebrated the release of his Bad Boy debut Excuse My French with a visit to "RapFix Live" on Wednesday (May 22) and a week later, the sales figures are in.The LP, which French previously declared would be the "best album of the decade," landed at #6 on the Billboard charts with 49,775 sold.
With bonus tracks included, there were about 19 features on the album, but French explained that he only had to pay for one of them. "The only person I paid was Max B. That's about it," he revealed. That means he managed to slip away with free verses from Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Drake, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Fabolous and plenty more.
"Honestly, Sway, I just feel like I've been blessed for everybody watching my grind," he said during his visit. "They see that I grind for everything that I want, I make it happen, so I just feel like people love to help people who help they self, because we all gonna need each other in the end."
