Before some of ya'll start catching feelings, let me explain for a minute...


We are getting nothing but fire and never before in rap has there been so many options!!! There's so many genre's of rap now that everybody can stay in their corner and not even meet. If you say you can't find any good rappers that you like, then you're too lazy to look some up.


The Stoner/Weed Rappers are all coming out of left field and those that just wanna smoke and chill, they have Mac Miller, Wiz, Curren$y, etc



For the Hip hop heads and backpackers that like to feel better than everyone else they have Kendric Lamar, Lupe Fiasco, Jay Electronica, etc



For those hype ass goon type n****as that want that straight up go wild and get pumped they have Waka Flaka, Meek Mill, Chief Keef, etc



For those wierd/bad ass skater kids that want to fuck everything up, disrespect all authority and run around the gawd damn place, you have the entire Odd Future Crew.



For those soft R&B type dudes that's more interrested in the Lloyd and Miquel hair beef than the rap battles and you sistas that like to idolize these R&B catz, you have Miguel, Frank Ocean, Chris Brown, etc




For those that wanna party and listen to some straight up club bangers while your BAL is constantly above 0.08 you have 2 Chainz, Future, Tyga, etc




For ya'll emotional ass n****as that be crying all the time and posting those gay ass picture quotes on instagram talking about how your ex made the wrong decision leaving you, you have Drake, J. Cole and Weeknd



For those crazy ass chicks that got WAAYYYY too many daddy issues and emotional baggage you have Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, etc



There's literally something out there for EVERYONE, no matter if you are a prep, goon, hipster, jock, backpacker, rich kid, nerd, pothead, skater,
cornball, etc.


Even all of the old artists are coming out now and putting out albums. All of these Veterans are still showing they got it while still dropping albums like Usher, Snoop Dogg, 50, Nas, Busta Rhymes etc The only rap veteran who really ain't delivered shit these past two-three years is Dr. Dre with that mythological Detox album.


The underground scene is at an insane level with so many rappers to choose from.


Rap/hip hop/R&B music has truely surpassing rock music as the voice of the generation emboding the youthful rebellion. I believe rap is better now than it was in the 90s. EVERYBODY IS BLOWING UP B!!!!


Jayden Smith's corny ass is even trying to sign with young money. Everybody and their grandma, 3rd cousin twice removed is trying to cut a deal and make it. It doesn't matter who you are or what you have been. You can even be an officer of the law and come out as a cocaine kingpin.



Unless your name is Charles Hamilton or Yung Berg then you're catching buzz no matter who you are now. We are entering a platinum age of hip hop where you have so many great artist that there are starting to become VERY distinct genres of hip hop. You can't say play some rap music real quick and play Kid Cudi next to some Gucci Mane. We have diversified since the 90s and grown out of the baggy gangsta swag of the 2000s.

When you say rapper, you can't picture some dude is a quad XL white T and some too baggy pants while fitted up with the entire jewelry store collection. They all look so differently that its hard to know who can actually spit and who can't.
