Throwing up after working out? WTF?

This has never happened to me. Did 30 mins of cardio & some strength training, came back to the house and thought i was hungry because my stomach was hurting. I sat down for about 5 mins and then I threw up. I hadn't eaten or drank since 6:30-7am, and I worked out at 9:30am. Why is this?
