Something I have wanted to address here on the IC since most y'all r American. Most black ppl up here in UK are either of African or Caribbean descent. I sometimes come across Caribbeans who vehemently don't want to be associated with African heritage. Personally I find it quite ignant considering that the 1st generation black inhabitants of the Caribbean Islands are originally African. Yes, over the centuries some may not have strong ties to the motherland but to outright reject your African heritage is kinda ignant at best.
