So today I get a call from a woman in HR at this job im supposed to be getting and she tells me a flag came up on my background about some shit I did when I lived in Atlanta in 2008. It was a suspended license violation and was only a misdemeanor but it still shows as a red flag smh. Im like WTF it shouldnt be a problem cause its not a felony and the job does not involve driving at all plus on the application it asked if i ever been convicted of a misdemeanor or felony OTHER than a driving offense so i clicked NO. Now all of a sudden the woman in HR is acting like this might be an issue and tells me she is gonna have to check it out and get back to me. I hope this doesnt knock me cause i hustled hard for this job and its a great opportunity plus I havent been in any driving trouble since i moved back to Texas in 2008.....so anyone that knows about background checks is this a bad thing for me???
