Lauryn Hill Pisses Off Her Fans Again
So Lauryn Hill showed up 3 hours late to another show. How long are people going let her ride the Miseducation album to keep paying to see her do this shit?
Ms. Lauryn Hill has struck again. This time she pulled off her late-arrival magic trick in Pittsburgh, Pa. where she arrived three hours late for a show.
Hill was booked to perform at Heinz Hall Tuesday night for a stop on her MLH Caravan: A Diaspora Calling! concert series. According to attendees, the show was scheduled to run from 8-11 p.m. Hill showed up at 11:15.
The venue was sold out and even Lauryn’s band was left hanging on stage. Of course, ticket buyers voiced their frustration. But in 2017, no one has sympathy for anybody gambling with their time and money to buy tickets to a Lauryn Hill show.

Bill Burr’s new stand-up special arrives on Netflix January 31
These are good times for anyone who enjoys the caustic, often scathing, yet fundamentally humane comedy of Massachusetts-born funnyman Bill Burr. In addition to his popular, freewheeling Monday Morning Podcast and his Netflix animated series F Is For Family—which returns for a second season later this year—Burr is releasing a new hour-long comedy special called Walk Your Way Out on Netflix on January 31. The streaming service has previously played host to such Burr specials as I’m Sorry You Feel That Way, You People Are All The Same, and Let It Go. This new special was recorded live in front of a packed house at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, a venue best known as the home of the Grand Ole Opry series of country music concerts. If that seems like an unlikely venue for a cranky Northerner like Burr, that’s probably the point. Comedy thrives on contrast.
Burr’s comedy tends to be wide-ranging, and he’s proven he can riff on politics and current events as well as what’s going on in his own personal life and family. So he’ll have plenty of material to draw from for Walk Your Way Out. Netflix promises the special will cover topics ranging “from sinking cruise ships to celebrity fat shaming and the myth of healthy fast-food.” Sounds like fun. For those still not acclimated to Burr’s style of humor, this recent Conan clip provides some clues as to his political leanings.

Yukmouth on J Prince Protecting Him During Beefs: Master P Knew Better
Rap-A-Lot CEO J Prince has a legendary following, which Yukmouth touched on during a recent interview with Hip Hop DX. He shared how J Prince immediately bailed him out of jail for $150,000, which he pointed out is unheard of in a lot of cases with rappers.
Yukmouth explained, "J Prince posted that shit the next day. You done heard the stories of Tupac getting locked up and Interscope not bailing his ass out. You seen Bobby Shmurda getting locked up. A million dollar bail is just $100,000 up front. 10 percent with a house. You ain’t paying no meal ticket. So the record label couldn’t put up $100,000 for their top artist? A record label couldn’t put up $100,000 for ‘Pac? Suge had to put up $100,000 with a house. He didn’t have to put up a million dollars."

St. Augustine (November 13, 354 – August 28, 430), also known as Saint Augustine or Saint Austin,[4] was an early Christian theologian and philosopher[5] whose writings influenced the development of Western Christianity and Western philosophy. He was the bishop of Hippo Regius (modern-day Annaba, Algeria), located in Numidia (Roman province of Africa). He is viewed as one of the most important Church Fathers in the Western Christianity for his writings in the Patristic Era. Among his most important works are City of God and Confessions.
St. Augustine is among the four eminent Fathers of the Church and he helped formulate the doctrine of original sin and made seminal contributions to the development of just war theory. Many Protestants, especially Calvinists, consider him to be one of the theological fathers of the Protestant Reformation due to his teachings on salvation and divine grace. Before finding God, as a youth Augustine lived a hedonistic lifestyle for a time, associating with young men who boasted of their bisexual exploits. The need to gain their acceptance forced inexperienced boys like Augustine to seek or make up stories about sexual experiences. As a result, St. Augustine is the patron saint of brewers, printers, and theologians. Augustine was also a major influence on the works of St. Thomas Aquinas.
